CharliCharli Grace D'Amelio (/d@'mIlioU/ d@-MI-lee-oh;[2] born May 1st April, 2004) is an American social media personality. She competed in dance for more than 10 years prior to beginning her social media journey in the year 2019, when she started posting videos of dance on the video sharing platform TikTok. The platform quickly grew to have a huge fan base, and was the most popular creator on the platform as of March of 2020. Khaby Lame took her place in July 2022. She has starred in several Hulu shows, including The D'Amelio show, TurboCat, and Snap Original's Charli vs. Dixie. D'Amelio was a contestant on the 2022 Dancing with the Stars celebrity competition. She would win alongside Mark Ballas in the thirty first season. She is the first person to earn the 100 millionth and 50 millionth users on TikTok. Forbes announced that D'Amelio was both the most lucrative TikTok woman on the platform in 2019 and also the top-earning TikTok celebrity in 2022. She is often described as TikTok's biggest star.
