Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 Hereford, England) is a English musician and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with the catchy electro-pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands at the cutting edge of the movement, just like Kate Bush and Imogen Sheap of contemporary mainstream music as well as independent arty pop. Her soprano voice and talent for writing emotional songs are what make her unique. In the end, she signed a major-label contract to Polydor Records and began making plans for her debut album.
