Sharp was raised within Rochester (New York) and embraced music. In the Hochstein School of Music, she took classes in cello, clarinet as well as piano. Sharp's love for theater during her high school years led her to the Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp following her graduation. in the Conservatory, Sharp set her goal to perform on stage. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other stage productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp is engaged in several projects of her own, including screenplays and plays. A full-length recording is in the works. Sharp also is still singing. Sharp is a fitness enthusiast and is always in good condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles, California with her family.
