Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in America for more than forty years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s she began her professional career as an actor on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then she appeared in a number of Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. That same year, she recorded her first album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre a 1957 drama film. This film became hugely popular and Louise even won the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the course of this film, she was joined the Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection with Lee Strasberg as his student. Her most memorable performance came in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Recently, she's also become an acclaimed director of well-known television series such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto when she was just three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision to play the lead.
